Is this service free?
Yes, our service for startups is always free. Agencies and professionals pay us a standard commission when you hire them through us. It makes sense: we help them save a lot of time and cash finding and selling to startups like yours, and given that we trust and thoroughly vet them for you, this is a win for everyone.
How does it work?
Start by getting a free analysis of your project, where we evaluate what you want to build and tell you what to expect in terms of costs, risks, and more. Then, we find and negotiate proposals on your behalf, giving you a range of options and recommendations. When you choose a proposal, we take care of the contracts and prep work for you. Then, we stick around to make sure the project happens and ends smoothly.
What if I'm not satisified?
Our team will fix that for you. Our team is made of technical people, so we can talk to whoever is doing the work to sort most things out. If we can't solve it, we'll find a new team for you, or give your money back.

Grids was founded in 2022 by Joey DeBruin and Rapha Menezes, packing 20+ years of experience in building products and startups into a platform that helps startups make smarter product outsourcing decisions.
Do I own the IP?
Of course! We make sure that any and all work you hire through Grids will protect your IP rights. From designs to code and everything in between, we ensure the contract between you and people doing the work protects your rights and lets you use the work as you see fit.
How long until people are working on my project?
Like the startups we serve, we move fast! Once you have set up your project on Grids, we take one week or less (usually less) to match you with amazing, clear proposals that let you get started fast. Once you decide for one proposal, most agencies and talent will be ready to start straight away!
How do I communicate with designers and engineers?
You will be in direct contact with the agency and people working on your project. We're always there to support you if any questions or problems arise, including reviewing work deliverables, timeline, scope changes, and so on.
